"A safe place to play and stay while you are away!"
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I check on my pet during their stay?
Your pet will be having loads of fun while you are away, allowing you to have peace of mind during their stay. To ensure you won't worry, we will send text messages with video and picture updates during the duration of their stay. We are always available via text, to have open communication. In addition, you can follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with our daily activity with our furry guests. We strive to take daily walks, weather permitting. We might have a water day during the hot summer, or we might have a nice relaxing evening by the fire. Who knows, maybe a nice car ride around the block or visit to Home Depot. There is NEVER a dull moment when your pet is staying with JJ's Dog Yard! Please be sure to follow so you can stay in the loop with our daily activities at The Dog Yard.
What do I need to bring for overnight boarding?
1. Food (In Pre-Measured Servings)
2. Medication
3. Collar/ Leash
4. Documented Special Instructions
5. Treats To Share (Not Required)
6. 1 Small Personal Item (Blanket/pillow)
We ask/require all food to be pre-packaged, to ensure our measurements are the same as what you feed them at home. It is our goal to keep feeding schedules as structured as possible. You can provide one small personal item with your scent on it, to help your pet feel close to you while you are away. (blanket/pillow) We DO NOT allow rawhides of any kind and we will kindly ask you to keep them. (This is a safety precaution, as some pets can become aggressive)
My pet has a special diet/medical needs. Can their needs be accommodated?
Yes. We can accommodate as best as we can to ensure all diet and medical needs are met. We do request that meals are prepared and have specific directions for what is required, to help us be able to meet the need in full. Any dog who has medical needs, must advises us up front before service is rendered. All medication needs to be advised up front, to allow us to understand the feel need of the dog. We are also able to accommodate diabetic dogs, who are in need of daily insulin shots.
